Stainless Steel-Carbon Steel Clad Plate is a composite material consisting of a stainless steel cladding layer and a carbon steel\/low-alloy steel base layer; the two metal layers are tightly bonded through advanced solid-state welding technology\u2014the Cold Roll Bonding (CRB) process, forming a solid metallurgical bond(bond strength \u2265 210 MPa), combining the high strength and toughness of carbon steel with the corrosion resistance and high-temperature tolerance of stainless steel.<\/p>

Cold Roll Bonding process achieves an interatomic metallurgical bond between two different metals\u2014stainless steel and carbon steel\u2014at room temperature or low temperatures through significant plastic deformation, and the material is ultimately rolled into coils. Its defining characteristic is the \u201cdouble-sided composite\u201d structure, wherein both surfaces of the carbon steel substrate (base layer) are continuously and integrally clad with stainless steel layers (cladding).
