La faible teneur en carbone minimise la tendance \u00e0 la pr\u00e9cipitation intergranulaire de carbures, r\u00e9duit la susceptibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la corrosion intergranulaire \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es et am\u00e9liore consid\u00e9rablement la soudabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion intergranulaire. Le traitement en solution apr\u00e8s soudage (maintien \u00e0 1050-1100\u00b0C suivi d'un refroidissement rapide) \u00e9limine les contraintes de soudage, dissout les carbures aux joints de grains, r\u00e9tablit la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion et la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature, et garantit que les zones soud\u00e9es poss\u00e8dent \u00e9galement d'excellentes
