Stainless steel plate is a flat-rolled sheet with excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and aesthetics,widely used in many fields such as construction, chemical industry, food processing, medical treatment, and automobiles. With iron as the main component, also contains chromium, nickel, molybdenum and other elements,stainless steel plate is resistant to rust and acid (corrosion resistance) due to the chromium-rich oxide film (passivation film) formed on its surface.
The chromium content is usually above 10%, which is the key component for forming a passivation film. This passivation film can effectively isolate the external corrosive medium, thereby improving the corrosion resistance of stainless steel plates.The higher the chromium content, the stronger the corrosion resistance.

The production process of stainless steel plates includes steps such as raw material preparation, smelting, casting, rolling, annealing, pickling and polishing, to ensure the high quality and stability of stainless steel plates.
-Heated slab passed through rolling mills.
-Thicker plates (6 – 100 mm+), coarser finish, high throughput.
-Hot‑rolled plate further rolled at room temperature.
-Thinner gauges (< 6 mm), smoother finish, tighter tolerances.
-Annealing relieves stresses and restores ductility.
