JFE-EH500 wear-resistant plate cutting method:

Cold cutting


Cold cutting: It includes water jet cutting, shearing, sawing or abrasive cutting.

Advantages: Minimal heat influence during cutting, prevents overall reduction in the hardness of the workpiece, and reduces deformation of the cut piece.

Disadvantages: High cost, can only cut thin plates, and the cutting speed is slow.

Thermal cutting:

 

Thermal cutting: It includes oxygen-fuel flame cutting (hereinafter referred to as “flame cutting”), plasma cutting, and laser cutting.


Advantages: Low cutting cost, processing equipment is available everywhere, can cut thick plates, and has a fast cutting speed.


Disadvantages: Likely to reduce the hardness of the steel plate and cause cracks.
