Product Description

410 stainless steel is a typical martensitic stainless steel, also known as “1Cr13,” containing approximately 12% chromium, provides moderate corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength, heat treatability, and magnetic properties, widely used in manufacturing various wear-resistant, high-strength mechanical components.

Unlike typical austenitic stainless steels (304/316), 410 steel features a body-centred cubic crystal structure and exhibits magnetic properties. Its strength and hardness can be significantly enhanced through heat treatments such as quenching and tempering. It can be formed in the untreated state and achieves excellent strength and wear resistance after heat treatment.

Why Choose 410 Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe

410 stainless steel seamless tubes are hollow tubular products manufactured through hot rolling or extrusion processes, featuring a smooth surface and precise cross-sectional dimensions.

JBLSTEEL is manufacturer, exporter & suppliers of high quality 410 Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe. We supply all 410 ss pipe in different sizes, diameters and types like seamless, welded & fabricated. 410 pipe is also available in various sizes, shapes as per the requirements of our clients. We conduct rigorous inspections on every batch of 410 tubing. Material Test Certificates (MTC) and mechanical property reports are available before shipment, in compliance with ASTM/ASME/JIS/GB standards.

410 Stainless Steel Pipe Advantage

410 is annealed stainless steel with high mechanical properties, offering excellent magnetic properties in both annealed and hardened conditions.

Corrosion Resistance:

Excellent corrosion resistance in low-to-medium temperature environments and mildly corrosive media (e.g., clean water, oil, acidic gases), but inappropriate for high-chloride environments. Additional protection is required for strong corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and seawater.

Heat Resistance:

Can withstand moderate temperature ranges (typical operating temperature ≤ 350°C), commonly used in steam pipelines and heat treatment equipment. Maximum heat resistance exceeds 600–650°C, with superior oxidation resistance (higher than ordinary carbon steel).

Workability:

Softened in annealed condition, allowing secondary processing like bending or pressing; hardens in quenched condition; wear-resistant but prone to cracking. 410 steel exhibits high hardness and strength, requiring preheating before welding and forming operations, followed by post-weld heat treatment.

High Strength, High Hardness:

410 stainless steel can achieve extremely high strength and hardness after heat treatment, offering advantages over many austenitic and ferritic steel grades. This means it provides superior wear and impact resistance under high-stress conditions, such as in high-pressure piping and mechanical components.
