Applications

2.0

Vehicle body panels, inner door panels

3.0

Chassis structural components, reinforcement beams

4.0

Heavy-duty vehicle frames, load-bearing components

Key materials for lightweight automotive design:

Body structural components: A-pillars, B-pillars, crash beams, etc.
Chassis components: Suspension assemblies, subframes
Commercial vehicle chassis rails: Enhancing load-bearing capacity

Engineering considerations for material selection:

When selecting S700MC, several key parameters must be considered:

· Forming Limit Diagram (FLD): To evaluate material performance during complex forming operations.
· Springback characteristics: High-strength steel exhibits 20–30% more springback than conventional steel.
· Die wear: Requires die materials with higher hardness.
· Welding process: Laser welding or resistance spot welding is recommended.
